Top and skort: Zara, Sandals: Primark, Bag: Louis Vuitton, Sunglasses: Ray Ban

Hvar is one of the most beautiful islands off the Dalmatian coast. It is also one of the biggest party islands! I was so looking forward to visiting the island and partying through the night at the best club on the Island Carpe Diem. I went there a few summers ago and had one of the best nights out. BUT my plan didn't go to plan and due to poor weather conditions our boat couldn't moor over night, so we just had a few hours to explore the island during the day.
I would describe Hvar as the St Tropez of Croatia....that has been taken over by Australian tourists! It has a gorgeous fortress at the top of the hill and a great marina to walk around. Their is a bunch of great bars and restaurants that are on the edge of the water, not to mention plenty of great swimming spots. Its a gorgeous island but you don't need a lot of time there to explore as it is quite small.
It was a great few hours spent but it was so hard to sail away and watch the day party taking place at Carpe Diem :( It is even harder to write this post as I sit in my apartment in London and it is pouring with rain outside....I don't want the European summer to end!

Travel tip: Hvar is twice the price of any other part of Croatia so accommodate for this (The cocktails are so worth it though!)

City Wall of Dubrovnik

Top: H&M, Shorts: Bershka, Bikini top: Triangl Swimwear, Sunglasses: RayBan, Shoes: Ebay, Watch: Michael Kors

I know there is a lot of pictures on this blog post, but I just couldn't help it because they came out so vibrant. This was my third time climbing the old wall of Dubrovnik in the past 4 years! I was excited for my parents to do it, because my sister and I enjoyed it so much the summer before. As it was such a hot day, we decided to walk the wall late in the afternoon to avoid the crowds and the heat.
We were fortunate to stay inside the old city walls of Dubrovnik in a small 3 story flat dating back to the 1300s. Carrying our massive bags up and down the steps was a workout but worth the effort! I love the small city vibe of Dubrovnik despite being over run with tourists, there is still a local feel about the town. Everyone from the gelato guys, the taxi drivers, to the bar staff are all so friendly and they loved my 'attempt' to speak Croatian!

Recommendations for Dubrovnik

Attractions: Walk the old city wall and the cable car
Nightclub: Revelin
Hotel: anywhere within the old city wall!
Bar: Buza Bar (the one in the picture where you can jump off the cliffs into the sea)
Dress: very casual....denim shorts, flip flops and a light shirt.
Beach: Copacobana

Cable Car in Dubrovnik

Top and Leather Shorts: Zara, Shoes: ebay, Sunglasses: Ray Ban, Necklace: Forever 21, Watch: Michael Kors

After spending 24 hours in bed with a nasty cold and bad cough, I woke up feeling refreshed and ready to concur Dubrovnik. We had a lovely breakfast by the marina....I recognized it was where a scene from Game of Thrones was filmed!
I have been to Dubrovnik a couple of times before but I have never done the cable car, so thats exactly what we did. Surprisingly, there was no cue for the cable car-which cost 100 kunas/ $20/ £10 per person. The ride is fast and the view from the top is pretty spectacular with views overlooking the whole city.

I like to think I dress appropriately for my body type. I may not wear the most on trend peices but just because something is on trend doesn't mean it is suitable for everyone to wear! I have a very short torso, no hips, a bit of a gut, big boobs, broad shoulders and long 'thinish' legs. So I tend to lean towards loose flowy shirts which hide my waist and short shorts to show off my legs. However, this top was a little too flowy and it ballooned out and made me look 8 months pregnant haha. You can't win them all! Until the day I have a body like Candice Swanepoel there will always be a few unflattering outfits once in a while wont they? A girl can dream... (As I eat a bag of chips) #fail

Is this the most majestic place you have ever seen? Plitvice national park has to be on everyones bucket list. It is pure paradise, words can't describe how beautiful this place is. I have never seen such neon aqua water. It looked like a fake hollywood set from the movie 'blue lagoon'!

I went to Plitvice a few years ago, however since it appeared on the National Geographic must see natural wonders it has become a lot more touristy. I strongly recommend going as early as possible (the park opens at 8am) to avoid the crowds. The park is so magnificent and so breathtaking... this is a must see destination for everyone visiting Croatia. Wear comfy shoes because their is a lot of walking and the paths get really slippery and with no handrails, skinny walkways and thousands of tourists, it is a mission to not fall in! Unfortunately, you are not allowed to swim in the park, so no need to pack your swimmers.

We spent the previous day driving 7 hours from Dubrovnik to a town close to the park, where we stayed in the most adorable hotel with a white picket fence and beautiful garden. Well worth the trip from the coast line, and on the plus side the Croatian highways are impressive so it is a very easy drive.

Also, sorry for the massive delay in posts... there is no excuse for my procrastination ( "get your shit together Summer!!"
