I know it has been a while...actually forever since I have added to my blog. To be honest I have no idea where to begin...
I moved to the UK with my fabulous friend Ashley who is also my sister, partner in crime, shopping buddy and my support system. I thought that it would smooth sailing...and have a epic adventures. Well it hasn't been so smooth....its been a roller coaster! I got pneumonia, then chickenpox, things didn't work out with my 'job'...and now I am more lost than ever.
I wanted this year to be my gap year to discover who I am and what I wanted to do in life. After graduating University in America, I knew exactly what I wanted to do and who I wanted to be with... I even knew the names of my future children! That plan crumbled...dramatically. So instead I decided (after sending my resume to 50 different positions and not hearing one reply) that I would travel and party until the recession is over!

I figure that my sister and I are single, young and have the means to why not? Eventually we are going to be stuck in our careers, or be married or heaven forbid have children soon! You have to live out your youth by being spontaneous, wild and have as many adventures as possible. After all  as John Lennon says: "Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans".

Ok rant over...
In regards to FASHION...

English fashion is incredible, not my style at all...but still incredible. Walking through London is like being in a time warp back into the 80s- high waisted jeans, acid wash, converse sneakers, retro sunglasses and vintage tee's.
Everyone here lives in jeans and white sneakers/converse....
Jeans are not my ideal piece of clothing to wear, so as you can see I do a lot of layering by mixing summer dresses with black tights and a blazer. If you have to invest in something, invest in a good blazer! if you are wearing a t-shirt or a dress, a nice blazer instantly makes your outfit smarter ;)

I just came back from a mini euro trip, so in the next week I will be blogging about my travels and my travel attire! Stay tuned, and check back in because I will be regularly blogging now...I PINKY PROMISE!
